Travel Policy

Booking and Reservations

  • Booking Confirmation: All bookings must be confirmed through our official website, phone, or email. A confirmation email will be sent once your booking is successfully processed.

  • Deposit & Payment: A deposit is required to confirm bookings, unless otherwise specified. Full payment must be made before the scheduled departure date, unless agreed upon in writing.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other methods as specified. All payments will be processed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) or another agreed-upon currency.

Travel Package Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Included Services: Our packages include accommodation, transportation (as specified in the itinerary), selected meals, guided tours, and entry fees to attractions. Specific inclusions will be outlined in your booking confirmation and itinerary.

  • Excluded Services: Personal expenses, meals not listed, optional activities, and services not specifically mentioned in the booking confirmation or itinerary are not included.

Amendments to Bookings

  • Changes to Itinerary: Any changes to the travel itinerary (e.g., dates, destinations, or accommodations) requested by the traveler will be subject to availability and may incur additional charges. We will make every effort to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee specific requests.

  • Amendment Fees: A fee may apply for modifications to your booking, depending on the type of package or service involved.

Traveler Responsibilities

  • Travel Documents: Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary documentation (e.g., passport, visa, travel insurance) for their trip. We are not liable for any travel disruptions due to missing or incorrect documentation.

  • Health & Fitness: Some tours involve physical activities (e.g., hiking, swimming, safaris). Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate. We recommend consulting with a doctor before engaging in any physically demanding activities.

  • Behavior and Conduct: Travelers are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully during the trip. Any disruptive or illegal behavior may result in removal from the tour without a refund.

Insurance

  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other unexpected events. Travel insurance is the traveler’s responsibility.

Force Majeure

Ceylon Dream Travels is not liable for failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, terrorism, or health emergencies (e.g., pandemics). In such cases, we will work to offer alternative arrangements based on the situation.

Child Policy

  • Children Under 2 Years: Children under 2 years old are generally free of charge for most tours, but additional fees may apply for flights, accommodation, or meals.

  • Children 2-12 Years: Children aged 2-12 are eligible for discounted rates on select tours and accommodations. Please inquire about discounts when booking.

  • Children Above 12 Years: Children above 12 years are considered adults and will be charged the full package price.

Liability Disclaimer

  • Personal Injury or Loss: While we strive to ensure the safety and comfort of all travelers, Ceylon Dream Travels is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property that occurs during the trip unless caused by negligence on our part.

  • Third-Party Services: Some services, such as excursions, accommodations, and transport, may be provided by third-party vendors. We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of third-party service providers.

Customer Feedback & Complaints
